with CHEERS!

At CHEERS you will learn to discover the diverse world of wines in a step by step program in class, at the stores and online. Additionally, we train our partners to become successful Entrepreneurs and will cover lessons such as cash flow management, inventory control, marketing, CHEERS style customer service and sales skills.

International Wine Certifications: CHEERS also contributes to wine education. Work with designated institute for the WSET (Wine Spirit Educational Trust) certificates. Those courses are offered to store owners and customers who want to take their knowledge to a higher level. They are designed for those who wish to pursue a career within the industry or the many enthusiasts who have a passion for wines and spirits.

We offer Level 2 and 3, here’s what you can learn.

Level 2

A beginner to intermediate level qualification exploring wines and spirits for those working in the industry or wine and spirit enthusiasts.

For individuals seeking a core understanding of wines, this qualification explores the major grape varieties and important wine regions in which they are grown. You’ll learn about the styles of wines produced from these grapes as well as key classifications and labelling terminology. A basic overview of the key categories of spirits and liqueurs will also be provided. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

  3. The key white and black grape varieties and their characteristics
  4. The important wine-producing regions of the world in which these grapes are grown
  5. The production of sparkling, sweet, and fortified wines

Level 3

This course is suitable for the following groups:

Combined with the lecturer’s experience in planting and brewing, as well as on-site visits to production areas, the course is presented in-depth yet easy to understand, bringing the knowledge to life.
