The Masueger family from Switzerland have been in the wine business since 1898.
Lina, the great-grandmother started wine trading after her husband died at an early age. Lina had to provide for her two children so, with a horse and carriage, she rode from Switzerland to Italy to import wines in barrels and started selling it in the local neighborhood. “Every day a glass of wine makes you strong, healthy and happy” said Lina.
Tieni Masueger, Lina’s Grandson became immersed within the family business and soon had a passion for wine. An enologist and a member of many wine brotherhoods around the world, he quickly established himself within the industry.
