What is it?

Rum is a spirit made from sugar cane sources or molasses, no other spirit has such a spread of styles as rum. White rums are clear and colorless and tend not to spend any time in wood, they have a light to medium intensity. Dark Rums gain their color from being aged in oak. Sugar cane is wildly cultivated on the island of West Indies, rum has been made since the 16th century and thanks to modern teqhnology,the quality has improved dramatically creating a sophisticated and aromatic taste.
