Made in Belgium, Peter Pale and Mary is a Folk Pale Ale, and named after the rock band Peter Paul & Marry in 1961. Light in color with aromas that offer tropical fruit to balance out the malt and hops. The taste is crisp with light bitter fruity hops, herbs and a spicy background. Ingredients-Water, Malt, Hops and Yeast. the term “top-fermenting” is associated with ale yeasts. Fermentation by ale yeasts at these relatively warmer temperatures produces a beer high in esters, which many regard as a distinctive character of ale beers.
Top-fermenting yeasts are used for brewing ales, porters, stouts, Altbier, Kölsch, and wheat beers.
