What is it?

Pinotage is a black grape variety that was specialy developed for hot South African conditions.
It is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault, but not like any of these two.
Its typically full-bodied, with meduim tannins and red fruit flavours.

By ageing this wine in a charred oak berral, it gives the wine a lovely coffee flavour.
